Two styles of record tree-view: Branch Mode and Link Mode. Branch Mode is traditional and useful to play back records of “Dead-Live” problems; Link Mode is more explicit and matches human perception pattern. It is recommended to play back normal records in Link Mode.
Variations (branches) can be freely concluded on board in playback.
Replay game can use mouse wheel to control move next or previous.
Automatic Replay can play back a record automatically according to the replay interval time set by user.
Move number can be set to show on all or part of the moves.
Selecting “Find Move” in the menu, user can click on a stone that has been put (displayed) on board to fast jump to the respective node of tree-view.
Guess Next Move: User can improve skill by guess next moves of either side or both sides.
Explicit list of taken stones (i.e. dead stones or prisoners, in other terms).
User can set whether to recount move number in variation, i.e. the first move of a variation will be recounted from 1.
Move number can be shown on the respective nodes of tree-view.
A tag will be activated and shown on board to inform user available variations related to next move; user can click on the tag to select and directly jump to the respective variation.
Highly integrated with Database features:
User can save a specific situation of a game as preview.
Support standard edit features, such as put stones, add/remove stones and marks, add/remove variations and input/edit comments and record description information.
Support to recount move number (i.e. MN mark of SGF).
Support to board region mark (i.e. RG mark of SGF).
Support most of SGF marks.
Quick Delete: In edit mode, user can quickly delete stones and marks from board by right-clicking on tem.
User can directly copy the contents of a record in SGF format text to system clipboard, or reversely.
Highly integrated with Database features:
The records of a database can be edited and saved; the modification will be reflected by the database immediately.
The record of a database can be saved to other databases.
Two advanced database view modes: Grid View and Card Preview.
Two different database load modes: Load all records at once and Load records on demand. The latter one is specially designed for loading large database, for instance, a database that contains more than 30,000 records, and brings faster responding speed and better using experience.

The boxes (fields) of Grid View can be edited in-place; accordingly, the record information will be simultaneously updated.
In Grid View, user can rate the records.
User can specify grid columns to be displayed and their ranking order.

Advanced Duplicates Checking and Auto Clean:
Duplicate Checking can find and sort the duplicate records out of databases.
Auto Clean provides user differentiate and flexible options to easily cleanup duplicate records.
Advanced Records Sort: User can set group rules to sort qualified records out of a database and transfer them to other different databases. The feature is very useful to the users who need to frequently sort databases.

Opening Pattern Checking can automatically check the records of a database and classify them according to their layout styles, which are defined by user.
Quick record search on player name: By inputting player’s name (blur inputting is supported, e.g. just input Changhao for LeeChanghao), user can sort out all the game records relevant to that player in a specific database. Furthermore, user can sort out all game records between two specific players by directly inputting their names (a blank should be input between the two names).
Provided some segment of a passage, Find Records By Text can sort out in a database all qualified records that contain similar segment.
Rebuild ID can change current ranking of a database and rebuild record ID.
A friendly wizard available for user to import/export records.
User can Copy/Paste records in database, so that it will be easy to exchange data among databases.
The records in StoneBase database can be opened by external editors; database will detect the modifications and update original record information.
Database Optimize can fix potential errors of database files and restore abundant disk space.
